Algorithm helps figure out environmentally best transport routes
Graduated from the Public University of Navarre, Sergio Úbeda Munárriz rearranges an algorithm which is adapted from current methods to generate environmentally efficient road vehicle routes.  The methods include environmental variables and routes calculation that generate lower levels of emissions. Despite of using the shortest or most economic routes, this new adapted method is using the cleanest or least contaminants routes. Fuel consumption and emission factors for various vehicles estimated precisely depending on the distribution process. Beforehand, people haven’t used CO2 emission to make models and design routes to transport goods because of its complexity and many factors to be considered, such as vehicle characteristics, fuel used, route conditions, driving style and weather condition.
