Florida’s Student Chapter Workshop, Competition, Leads to Internship Interviews
The University of Florida’s student chapter held a day long “case Study Workshop and Competition” that led to summer internship interviews with a healthcare products company.
Twelve students listened to the workshops, which discussed how to create a presentation, how to present effectively and how to analyze data with excel . Three professional members (two from Voalte, one from Accenture) and then-student-chapter-President Ashley Papagno.
Students were tasked with being consultants to a mining and refinery company. The company expected that demand soon would outstrip its capacity. Student analyzed options with many factors needed to be considered. Student has opportunity to work with a small team on a challenging real-world problem.
The three winning students accepted internship interview with Voalte, which creates healthcare communication tools.
