Human Integrated Systems Student Exhibition 2024/2025
Jakarta, 14 June 2025 – The Human Integrated Systems Exhibition 2025, held on 12-13 June at BINUS University’s Anggrek Campus, showcased a wide range of student-developed innovations by second-semester students from the Industrial Engineering program.
This two-day exhibition featured 30 different student groups presenting human-centered designs and digital advancements, focusing on ergonomics, sustainability, and real-world applicability. The event attracted a large number of visitors, including students, lecturers, and industry professionals, all eager to explore practical applications of human integrated systems.
Held under the theme “Ergonomic Design: Enhancing Human Performance through Functionality, Safety, and Well-Being,” the exhibition opened with a speech by Venda Patricia Djunaidi, Chair of the Organizing Committee. The exhibition was officially inaugurated by Ir. Taufik, S.T., M.M., Ph.D., IPM, Head of the Industrial Engineering Department. He stated, “I sincerely appreciate the hard work and creativity each student has shown. Your projects reflect true dedication and a strong understanding of human-centered design. Well done, and keep up the great work. I also want to thank everyone who contributed to make this exhibition possible-it’s been a great showcase of innovation and collaboration.”
The exhibition was part of the Human Integrated System course, taught by Dr. Ir. Ho Hwi Chie, M.Sc., IPU, ASEAN Eng., Fransisca Tiur Basari, S.T., M.Sc., and Amir Tjolleng, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D.
To enrich the academic perspective with real-world insights, professionals from the industry were invited as judges. Mr. Aldhi Pratama, Merchandise Creative Officer at Kawan Lama, served as the exhibition’s judge. Projects were evaluated based on innovation, feasibility, and sustainability. Several standout projects received recognition and prizes sponsored by the department, with total award worth Rp3,000,000.
