Jakarta, July 10, 2026. Three students from the BINUS University Industrial Engineering Program, Class of B27, Louis Hartanto Utomo, Venda Patricia Djunaidi, and Jovanca Anandita To’a, who are members of Team Synergee, successfully secured the title of 2nd Runner-Up (3rd Place) at EcoVation 2026, an international business case study competition organized by Do Well Do Good (DWDG) BINUS.

About the Competition
EcoVation 2026 challenged participants to design cross-industry sustainability solutions, ranging from beauty and fashion to mining. Throughout the competition, Team Synergee navigated three selection rounds, each featuring different case studies and industry partners.

Team Synergee’s Journey

Preliminary Round – Mad For Makeup
In the initial stage, the team proposed a circular business model for Mad For Makeup to reduce inventory and product packaging waste.

Semifinal Round – RE.UNIQLO Indonesia
Advancing to the semifinals, Team Synergee introduced RE.LOOP, a localized circular engagement strategy for RE.UNIQLO Indonesia. This initiative promotes repair, reuse, and collection of clothing through community-based programs.

Grand Final Round – PwC Indonesia
In the final round, the team addressed the stigma of “dirty nickel” associated with Indonesia’s mining industry. They proposed a national-level sustainability rating framework, supported by mechanisms for continuous ESG improvement and strategic advisory services for PwC Indonesia.

Results and Achievements
Through an innovative and business-oriented approach, Team Synergee successfully demonstrated how sustainability can drive long-term value creation. This achievement earned them the title of 2nd Runner-Up at the international level, along with a prize of IDR 3,000,000.
