Research title: Reaction Time dan Muscle Strength Measurement during Hypoxia condition at Health Institute of Aeronautics and Space (Lakespra) Dr. Saryanto

Activity: Health Institute of Aeronautics and Space (Lakespra) collaborate with Bina Nusantara University in this research topic. A hypobaric chamber facility in Lakespra, PVT software and Hand Dynamometer are used in executing this research. Some Industrial Engineering students whom are in their final year, Karimah, Caesar Danu, Lanjar Eka, and Yunita Sudarsono, are involved in data collection and supervised by Rida Zuraida as their mentor and Letkol. Kes. Dr. S. Aritonang (Lakespra) as the on field supervisor. The data collection is done on February 4-5, 2013.

The research showed that reaction time in normal and hypoxia conditions is different at the 95% confident level, with an average reaction time longer in hypoxia conditions, and muscle strength in conditions of hypoxia is stronger, it estimated as result of euphoria as the sign of early hypoxia. It confirmed that, hypoxia affected someone ability in decision making process.
