LKMO 2023

Latihan Keterampilan Manajemen Organisasi (LKMO) is an annual event carried out by HIMTRI Binus University as the final stage of regeneration for prospective HIMTRI Binus University activists. Through this event, participants are trained to have organizational management skills through a series of events. Along with the improving conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, LKMO 2023 is planned to be held offline by taking into account the health protocols set by the government.

LKMO 2023 carries the theme “Respect and Responsibility: Building Responsible Mindset to Bring Respect”. Through this theme, it is expected that LKMO 2023 participants can uphold respect for each other and have a sense of responsibility for the choices they make. Respect is one of the necessary attitudes, respect is a behaviour where respect for oneself and the environment. On the other hand, responsibility is an attitude where doing a job seriously comes from self-will and not coercion from the surrounding environment.

LKMO 2023 activities are divided into two sessions, where each session is intended for Kemanggisan and Semarang region participants. The first day of LKMO 2023 for the Kemanggisan region was held on March 17, 2023 at Kijang Campus, Binus University, West Jakarta which started at 7:30 – 16:20. While the second day of the LKMO 2023 Kemanggisan was held on March 19, 2023 at D’ThaNaSha21 Camp and Villa, Bogor, West Java, at 9:30 – 18:00. Prior to the implementation of the LKMO 2023 series of events for the Kemanggisan region, the participants participated in technical meeting activities on March 10, 2023, to prepare all the needs needed to carry out LKMO 2023 activities. LKMO 2023 Semarang was held on April 10, 2023 online using the Zoom Meeting platform.

LKMO 2023 held a series of events such as material exposure by speakers regarding respect and responsibility. LKMO 2023 speakers included Adika Bagja, as Head of the Research Division of HIMTRI RISET, Fedora Tanuwijaya, as Head of the Academic Division of HIMTRI RISET. In addition, LKMO 2023 also invited Habel Christian, as Head of the HIMTRI PROGRES Association, Faric Priyatama, as Head of the HIMTRI PROGRES Public Relations DIVISION, and Sendy as Head of the HIMTRI PROGRES Academic Division to present material to participants. The series of events at LKMO 2023 also include roleplay, a series of games, and closed by a ceremony. With this series of events, it is hoped that the participants, Industrial Engineering Students of Bina Nusantara University Batch 2022, can foster an attitude of respect and responsibility so that it can be useful in the future.
