Simulation with Arena 16

Simulation is the behavioral mimicry techniques of a situation (state) with analogizing the circumstances, model or tools to obtain sufficient information or to rain employees / people (Oxford English Dictionary). Simulation is used as an analytical tool operation of a system that already exists or to test a new design system. The used of simulation has increased due to the increasing challenges in the manufacturing, supply chain management, and service systems.

Arena 16 is a powerful modeling and simulation software to solve industry challenge. It helps the user to demonstrate, predict, and measure system strategies for effective and optimized performance. The software executes reports as the result of a simulation run. Arena 16 training helps the students to analyze the impact of new, “what-if” business ideas, rules, and strategies before implementation on live customers-offline, without causing disruptions in service. The following course use this software as part of the learning plan is ISYE6185: Systems Simulation.
